PRIVACY
The traditional pilgrim hostel has 52 beds in three well-furnished and clean dormitories. We accept pilgrims from April 1st to October 31st from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
After that it's time for night rest. ​
Thanks to well-placed partitions, our main dormitory offers a high level of privacy.
PRICES
We charge € 8,- including disposable bed sheets, hygiene and your stay for one night. Laundry can be washed by hand or machine and can be dried either on the clothesline or in the tumble dryer. Washing machine + dryer each cost € 4,- per use.
BYCICLE PILGRIMS
For cyclists and pilgrims on horseback, there are options for safely parking their bikes and a pasture for the animals.
PROVIDED
You can cook and eat in our large, well-equipped kitchen.

Not far from our Albergue there is a bar where you can eat, with a small shop where you can also buy food to cook by yourself.

How to find us
In the municipality of Vega de Valcarce, in the El Bierzo region, there is the small town of La Faba with today only 25 inhabitants. Located on the Villafranca del Bierzo - O Cebreiro stage, this is the penultimate village of Castilla y León on the French Way of St. James before reaching O Cebreiro in Galicia at the end of the Valcarce Valley.
